Body & Mind
The superwomen in your life deserve to be treated. Mother's day is a celebration of all the powerful women that have supported us throughout our life. Give back this Mother's Day with our range of gifts .
For the ultimate Mother’s Day surprise, we asked the much-loved, self-taught cook, food stylist and photographer Gretchen Lowe to create a Dose & Co recipe that’s sure to add an extra dose of the good stuff to mum’s day.
Actually, our team here at Bendon was so inspired that a few of us created some recipes of our own using Dose & Co Pure Collagen powder too! We hope you’ll find one to your liking to enjoy with your mum!

MethodPreheat the oven to 180°C. Line the base of a 25cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides with butter. In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.Add the eggs one at a time, beating a minute or so between each. Beat in the vanilla lime zest and sea salt.Add the ricotta and beat on low until incorporated. (It’ll look curdled but that’s fine)Using a rubber spatula, fold through the poppy seedsFold through Dose & Co Pure Collagen, then add sifted flour and baking powder until just combined (careful not to overmix or the cake could become tough)Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking tin and lay pear slices in a single layer covering the batter.Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.Place the pan on a cooling rack for 15 minutes then run a knife around the edges. Remove and allow to cool completely. For the yoghurt, drizzle stir together yoghurt, icing sugar and lime juice then drizzle on the cake. Add more juice if you’d like it thinner.Mix dukkah ingredients together and sprinkle over the cake.Serve to mum with hot tea or coffee and extra yoghurt.
